Time and time again we get asked which corset is best for this body shape and that and time and again we manage to help ladies find the right corset for them. We’re always going to recommend boned corsets, cheaper corsets aren’t made to enhance your figure, save those for the bedroom only.

We hear that quite often and the answer is always a simply one. If you already have the bust and hips but the waist merges with it rather than curving in at the sides, then we’d highly recommend a boned bust corset. These corsets are best worn over a shirt/top and automatically cinch your waist in by up to 4-5″. Check out Queen Latifah here, she could quite possibly be more apple shaped, but look what a corset does for her waist, gives it a lovely shape and flattens it.
